Added a “Discard” button to the item pickup panel.
Added a backstab custom death animation to the Heavy.
Changed default for tf_arena_use_queue to 1. This was the original behavior prior to the last update.
Changed the Dead Ringer so it can be activated while carrying the flag.
Increased the Force-A-Nature’s damage by 10%.
Fixed not being able to reflect arrows with the Flamethrower.
Fixed The Huntsman drawing a muzzle flash under lagged conditions.
Fixed the background color of the Spy disguise panel not always matching his disguise team.
Fixed idle players being kicked when the server has tf_arena_use_queue set to 0.
Fixed Spies not being able to sap a building if an enemy player was colliding with the building.
Fixed getting a real target ID on an enemy Spy that’s disguised as one of your teammates if you are disguised as an enemy.
Fixed the Ambassador not shooting enemy sticky bombs.
Fixed Spies being able to automatically cloak after uncloaking at the moment of a weapon switch.
Fixed Jarate instantly exploding when thrown in some places, like the final area of Badwater.
Fixed spectators not having their items removed when they enter spectator mode.
Fixed Sniper “civilian” exploit where players could crash the server.
Fixed a couple of cases where viable backstabs would fail.
the 3 I liked.
– Changed the Dead Ringer so it can be activated while carrying the flag.
this removes the bug where you couldn’t use the dead ringer while carrying the flag but did get the damage reduction effect of the dead ringer (without dropping the flag). now you do get the full effect but you drop the flag.
– Increased the Force-A-Nature’s damage by 10%.
A couple of top scouts have been using this weapon from time to time. I think more of us little bastards will be seen fielding it now :D
– Fixed not being able to reflect arrows with the Flamethrower.

lawl i airshot you with reflected arrow … but NOES to the fan its so annoying :(

awww Force-A-Nature is so ANNOYING to play against…
i tried to reflect the arrows, but it seems, it still doesn’t works
and the sniper still can’t shoot through the mates, too
I still think a lot of people will not use the Force of Nature, purely because people sometimes can’t hit that consistently and hence a lot of reload time
Though saying that, as mentioned there is a couple of good scouts using it at the moment and no doubt they will become more annoying…Arx included :)

The knockback is pretty much the reason for using the gun, unless you enjoy getting to badlands middle 1 second quicker in a very predictable position.
Tbh 10% is going to be pretty huge. It’s a bit like the TFTrue argument used before. Someone mentioned in irc a while ago that the FaN hit for 100 then 99 damage, I haven’t tested it but i’ll go with it. That means it used to be unable to 2 hit a soldier. 10% means that now you can.

Combined with the self-damage, doesn’t sound very good for the sollies…
My demo from yesterday works.
I heard the FAN is the best weapon to use and shoot Numlocked, apparently it makes him smile and be chirpy in matches :X
FYI – Normal double barrelled shotgun still does more damage overall, but the FAN does it’s damage quicker to a player…
You get the advantage of making the opponent not able to move nor aim usually with the FAN.
The only real disadvantage to the FAN to the normal shotgun is it’s 2 shots only so if you miss you’re first shot then u’ve missed you’re 2nd shot and by then the opponent scout would of shot 4 meat shots on you so its a risk taker’s gun as well as a team coordinated gun too…
Will be very interesting to see which plebs use it :D
