It seems randomly my mouse sensitivity jumpes and causes me to miss shots etc, after playing UT3 for a day it didnt happen once but when i started playing tf2 again it happend :< I really dont understand whats causing it, it doesnt change my sensitivity ingame or my mouses DPI and it cant be accel because i have all that disabled :s
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Using the Razer Mamba so if anyone else is getting it please say.
sounds like mouse accel even tho you have it turned off :p
Either that or you fps going up and down? Can change the feeling of sensitivity.
nfi!

Actually i never thought of that, ive been noticing my FPS wasnt staying at 100 since the last update (:'()
Ill try using m0res fps config, see if it makes a difference.
Thanks Oggy :>
I had exactly the same using a Razer Lachesis. Go back to the 1.00 drivers and it’s fixed.

That would involve going back firmware on both the mouse and the charging dock and the drivers etc. Gonna see if its FPS related and ill try this as a last ditch attempt but i really want to avoid it if possible
Drivers, not firmware, just uninstall them and get the old ones.
Your settings are saved as well, only accel will be automatically turned on, all other data is saved on the mouse itself.
I have the mamba as well and did a write-up on how to configure the mouse properly in a related post, go find it. In short, it basically comes down to two important settings — sensitivity 1.0 in tf2 and DO NOT TOUCH the default settings of the mouse in windows. ONLY adjust the DPIs in the mamba configurator (I have 3 DPI stages, adjustable with the left mini-buttons as you probably know). This will make sure you get no interpolation done at any stage in the input-chain. Also make sure you upgrade the firmware to 1.07, that solved the last problems with jitter I had. As a last note, the sensor works best on white surfaces, Razer PRO|1 is the preferred surface for the mamba.
