Higher fps without quality loss?

Is this possible? I was wondering, since I’ve been playing with m0re’s cfg for ages, and now that I have a decent rig would want to see it somewhere. So if you know any cvars/configs that improve fps without/with a barely noticable quality loss, please contribute. :)
Yes. I want that too! I’d even prefer “Much higher FPS with better Quality”! :(
out of curiousity, what is the rig? I have a 8800gt 512, 4gb ram and q6600 and play the game with all settings on full at 1900×1600 and don’t see any performance drop that impairs my game
E8400 @ 3ghz (stock) and a HD 4870. Also 4gigs of ram, 5-5-5-20 @ 800mhz. The mobo is MSI p45-neo3. Running the game at 1024×768 all maxed, and it drops below 85fps,(my refresh rate) and mouse movements start dragging behind because of my incredibly low sens, like 30cm/180.

With some time you maybe get what you want (deactivate eyes ans teeth as start)
I have a decent rig and simply use dxlevel 81, it runs at 150-250 fps. More’s config is great if you have an older computer but seems to be over kill if you have a newer one.
Indeed, SHOULD. ;p And yes, I can play but the drops down to ~50fps at the middle which makes my crosshair drag. :f
hmm makes no sense, it must be something software-related fo sho.
what OS u got? antivirus running? any weird processes in taskmanager, all drivers up-to-date?
My gf runs at almost the same config smoothly on Vista x64..not talking about the low reso u play on now

strange, i have a similar setup and only drop below 100 on 32 man servers on max settings. take it you’ve got all your drivers up to date etc?
also 30’s not really incredibly low, you can still use quite a lot of finger/wrist aiming
with a decent fps config you should easily stay above 85 though.

do you currently use AA/AF? if so consider disabling it. else, things like disabling 3dsky, lowering shadow quality and water reflections should have a decent improvement on fps without visually turning into qwtf.
