Audio/video settings not being saved

this might work, start your game with -dxlevel , after that exit game and remove the dxlevel from your launch options and start the game again. make whatever you wanted from options and try it if it has saved them. worked for me while testing this for you.

Same problem for me, but I just found what the commands were to disable/enable the relevant graphics options then put them into my autoexec.cfg

Having the game load with HDR on every time was pissing me off.

Same problem, every time I start TF2 I have to change all video settings to low, and brightness.
Please VALVe, fix it or whatever.

I tried with just “-dxlevel” at first. But now I tried with those different values. Oddly enough, when I tried with 90, 91 and 95 the “Color correction” was actually not reset. But still, the audio and bloom effect are default.
