What do these ones actually do?
-noipx
-gl
-gl ;; This enables Open GL hardware rendering mode
-noipx ;; Don’t load IPX Connections, save ram.

whats the difference from:
-window and -sw (start windowed)
-w 1680 -h 1050 -full -console -novid -nocrashdialog -freq 60 -dev -nosync -nojoy -gl -dxlevel 82

Well if we’re already on it… whats the actual difference between OpenGL and the default stuff? :S
OpenGL is just a different mode for the hardware to render the game iirc. I have no clue if it’s giving you better fps, it did for me back in CS 1.6 though :P And i dont know if it’s even working, so…
They don’t do anything. Those are HL1 commands. There is no OpenGL mode in Source engine lol.
why would anyone start with -nocrashdialog?
