Well, though about something today. Would it be possible to stretch the game over both monitors, but still only play on my 24″, having the scoreboard on my 19″.
I don¨t really think so, but you never know.
Short answer: No.
Long answer: NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
If you’re not a 1337-graphics-driver-h4xz0r and you compile your own drivers i’d say it’s pretty much imposible. And still if you do that the scoreboard is a part of the game’s overlay which i guess cant be put anywhere else than in the middle of the screen your playing on.
The easiest way to do what you want is to connect the second screen to another computer and set it to spec your game. If you have SourceTV as nick no one will suspect you.
Very few games have any official support for a multi screen setup sadly.

You have a great sense of humour…
As a matter of fact atleast the stock ATi 4870 drivers can do dual-screen in games. As a matter of fact I could give you guys a video of tf2 on two screens, tho the problem is, the crosshair is split. And it looks extremely fucked up. :D I’ll upload the video, you’ll see.
Rake he doesn’t want the game split over two monitors, that bit is easy, he wants to play on one screen and have the scoreboard on the other :E

:(((( not that it was funny but just a pretty stupid idea imo..
Klu, that was more of a response to GangsterAlgot who said you’ll have to be 1337haxor to split the game on two screens. Tho I think by modifying the hud you could get the scoreboard on one screen, even tho the game would still run on two. (split crosshair etc)
Video is up btw: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nL3KnQDMaM
Ah right, yeah splitting it over two screens is no problem ;) separating the game and the scoreboard isn’t so easy :P
How’s this for ya: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8tInaRVlLI
