The title says it all really. My old script:
// ForwardSpawn
alias class_demoman "join_class demoman"
alias class_engineer "join_class engineer"
alias class_heavyweapons "join_class heavyweapons"
alias class_medic "join_class medic"
alias class_pyro "join_class pyro"
alias class_scout "join_class scout"
alias class_sniper "join_class sniper"
alias class_soldier "join_class soldier"
alias class_spy "join_class spy"
alias current_class ""
alias cycle_on_class_changed ""
alias cycle_final_class "alias cycle_on_class_changed cycle_terminate; alias cycle_do_loop cycle_loop; cycle_do_loop"
alias cycle_loop "current_class; wait 25; cycle_do_loop"
alias cycle_terminate "alias cycle_do_loop; alias cycle_on_class_changed"
alias cycle_random_class "alias cycle_on_class_changed cycle_random_terminate; alias cycle_do_loop cycle_random_loop; cycle_do_loop"
alias cycle_random_loop "join_class random; wait 25; cycle_do_loop"
alias cycle_random_terminate "alias cycle_do_loop; cycle_final_class"
alias cycle_spawn "update_current_class; cycle_random_class"
there is no lag-free way to replace the wait command. i’ve put a lot of time into finding one.
be less lazy :)
bind your numpad keys to changing class?
BIND "KP_END" "join_class scout"
BIND "KP_DOWNARROW" "join_class soldier"
BIND "KP_PGDN" "join_class pyro"
BIND "KP_LEFTARROW" "join_class demoman"
BIND "KP_5" "join_class heavyweapons"
BIND "KP_RIGHTARROW" "join_class engineer"
BIND "KP_HOME" "join_class medic"
BIND "KP_UPARROW" "join_class sniper"
BIND "KP_PGUP" "join_class spy"
2 key presses…

That’s a no go.
What do you want to do exactly?
logitech keyboard with macro?
also u can loop 2 classes… like pyro – scout…
btw whats with that complex thing, i used this so far: alias clchange "join_class spy; wait 100; join_class medic"
dont think there is a cmd that makes u forwardspawn instantly…
havnt tried but might work:
alias spawn "spawn1"
alias spawn1 "join_class sniper; alias spawn2"
alias spawn2 "join_class scout; alias spawn1"
bind j spawn

When say I’m in our first respawn and my team captures the middle cap, I would like change to a random class and then change back to my previous class in order to switch spawns ASAP (and to avoid unnecessary inconvenience ofc :>)

Yea, I suppose that I could use something that shifts to say pyro and then back to soldier. ’cause I normally play solly, but something that works for every class would def. be better -_-
