Have been thinking about upgrading to 280 hz IPS monitor from 144 hz. I have benchmarked many games and I’m getting average 260-270 fps in 6s games. But can you really notice the difference? In other words, is it worth to upgrade in your opinion?

It’s definitely not as much of a jump vs going from 60hz to 144hz but it’s noticeable on hitscan classes like Scout/Sniper (and to a lesser degree on other classes). The difference is there but whether it’s worth upgrading depends on your budget & whether you can consistently reach that amount of frames (in other gamemodes/environments)/what you plan to do with your old monitor.
