Setting volume in Windows Mixer permanently

Ok guys, here’s my problem: I want to run TF2 with a Windows volume of 10 however everytime I start TF2 it resets to 0 and I have to open up the mixer everytime and adjust it accordingly. That is not the case with eg Mumble.

Anyone knows to how to set it permanently?

Thats not the thing I mean. I’m using volume 0.5 :P But eg volume 1.0/windows 0 < volume 0.5/windows 10. You see where I’m coming from? :P

go to audio devices and check properties in one of the tabs you can find a checkbox that says something like disable windows to adjust volume automaticly (it’s clear though witch button it is) (i dont know where it is exactly because i switched back to xp)
