just wondering if there’s any special settings I can be using for scout, at the moment I’ve got the minimal hud and a red dot cross hair which has already helped allot!

bind “LeftClick” When_on_crosshair do_instant _kill else do_instant _kill_for_all

Play with the settings you prefer. Dont play with a high sens just because a div1 scout told you he plays with high sens.

You could however experiment with the following settings:

viewmodel_fov (size of your weapon)
r_drawviewmodel 0/1 (hide/show weapon)
sensitivity (obviously :P)

erm… cant think of any more atm but surely there are plenty of things to play around with^^

You could try binding the right click for jump. I did it and it helped alot, for soldier that is…

Pink crosshair. Red just plain sucks. Nothing in the game is pink, so it offers the best contrast.

I disagree. Obviously the best contrast when playing against blu is having a red ch and when playing against red having a blue ch. I used to play with that some time. But again, its just personal preference :P

It’s not just the targets, but also the surroundings.

Why would that matter? He is not aiming at the surroundings :D, well… unless he is crazy <3

Before they brought out crosshairs i used a bit of blutac ;D and yes… green crosshairs beat gay girly pink ones!
