ESL got a massive boost in players when the controversial “allow the op unlocks for Season 9 in ETF2L” came. However, it died when ESL forced people to use their shitty AC client and when ETF2L brought back vanilla ruleset in Season 10.

Worst decision TF2 ever made.
But still the best decision I made as a person. That AC client gave me 10fps and the admins refused to let us play without it.
I’d say blame Anak1n but it’s not his fault lol, ESL overlords forcing rulesets when they had no clue about the game.
