So my mid team was mentored by Mirelin tonight, and let me tell you my shock from meeting this person is unreal. Simply the friendliest and most passssionate player I have met since playing TF2.
This guy literally spent 3 hours mentoring us, talking non-stop, answering questions no matter how poorly phrased or akward they may have been, he just continued to educate us on how to think within the game. As a Scout player it makes me realise how much focus I seem to place on my DM rather than just understanding actual in-game situations! He gave us strategies for pushing lasts, talked about rotates, uber exchanges (ie. avoid like aids), positioning as a team and far more.
And all the while remaining polite, friendly, and patient with us, even when dealing with one players microphone having more feedback than Metal Machine Music. I am stunned at the dedication this guy gave to us tonight, he owed us absolutely nothing and yet gave so much.
So the least I can do was to create this thank you to him, please, to any players struggling with the game, Mirelin will treat you with respect so long as you treat him with it, and grow you into a better player.

I am glad to hear that I am being considered by the nicest person in the TF2. In fact, everybody here is very nice. I am just following the community and trying to be the same :>

Regarding the mentoring, so far I have added everybody who was willing to get some help. Thanks to everybody for good words and feedback :> .
I have added everybody but R.E.M. My steam went wild; it’s not adding anybody. My friend list is not full, it is confirmed.
Will give it another try after I get some sleep :>

I have considered streaming my mentor sessions and uploading them to youtube. I think I might do it in my next sessions.

Yeah I had this problem before as well. It just fixes itself after a while. I’ve added you, hopefully that’ll work.
EDIT: Had mentoring session with him and he’s a really swell guy. 8/8 would be gr8 m8

Now I know all about THE PASSION. No, jokes aside I know a bit more.
We did a very detailed demo review, rewatching bits in slowmo and all that good stuff. Meanwhile Mirelin listed the most important mistakes that were made in chat which makes it just so much easier to keep them in mind and work on them.
This guy knows his facts for real. And in addition he is super friendly as everyone knows. I’ll give him some money for sure.
