That people want something like this seems out of question.
Now the major decision is what skill level and cpts mode or no.

If prem + top high:
– higher skill level
– higher prestige
– effectively less players and might just die off again after a month or so

If prem + entirety of high
– lower skill level (since this season of high isnt the greatest)
– less prestigious to have access to
– more active players

Now there’ll obviously be some invites (all assumptions btw) to people that arent playing this season, old prem/d1 players etc, and if you only invite the top high teams then you’ll have to draw the line somewhere, either people will get upset about this and still request invites and be obnoxious or you invite all high players (from this and last season) and just let captains mode deal with the skill level and class restrictions.

Let’s say we invite the top 10 teams in high + prem teams + old top 10 high + old prem players, when will you determine which teams are the top 10 in high? You’re only really able to paint a picture once the season develops and there are quite a few decent players at the bottom of high atm. So there’s a big chance of decent people getting left out.

Or top prem players just bite the bullet and play with high and high- players and you have a sustaining player base for higher level pickups.

And people are really longing for some high level games again that arent scrims, since sideshow tries to kill the dblmixes these days (heh)

I have no idea how many high playoff spots there are this season but i like the idea of giving an invite to all the players from teams that manage to reach the playoffs. This would be a nice little extra to reward a successful season.

In my personal opinion, giving only the teams who made playoffs is not really enough. Last season I feel like the teams that should have made playoffs didn’t due to the varied teams they were put up against. 4 playoff spots in High isn’t enough so I’d go for top 10 (maybe) who should get to play.
