Run mumble as administrator, if you already are not doing that.

Ok………….. so i spent the past hour dealing with this. My cousin could hear me on skype but not mumble. Right click the audio speaker and left click recording devices. Right click your mouse and click on properties in the advanced setting tab… make sure allow apps to take control of this device is unchecked. This solved my problem.

I know this is two years late but it worked….
