How do you start a killstreak with a killstreak medi gun?

I recently got a killstreak medi gun, and i’m not sure how to get a killstreak on it. Help!

Every assist increases your killstreak.

Instead of kills because that’s impossible for a medigun, it’s assists so keep on healing someone good. ;)
