Why no one wants to try new tactics in 6s

I like both HL and 6s but I don’t understand why people are so afraid of trying new things in 6s. When I play a lobby and suggest sometihng new (like a heavy for defending spire or something like that) people ALWAYS say no. I know that the standard class setup is “proven” best but I just don’t get why no one will offclass even if its just to surprise the enemy.
People like to win and are afraid that they lose because of an offclass.
its like having that kid run deagle all the time in csgo matchmaking
Is it worth it? Just to surprise the enemy? There’s a reason why we don’t do it and that is because offclasses merely don’t work most the time.

Besides the fact that a tactic like that probably won’t work. When playing a pickup or lobby people expect you to play the standard way of playing. If you don’t do that then things get messy. Join a team and bring your strategies to them, if you can back them up with why it would work
No-one runs a heavy on spire because most people aren’t enormous dickheads
Heavy on spire is a byte approved tactic however!
Don’t expect people on lobbies to embrace trying out things though.
People don’t use these tactics because they are fucking stupid and don’t work.
