Quoted from Septique
I chose scout because I came from Action Quake 2, which is very fast paced game, and scout felt like the only fast character in the game.
AQ = sniper
RA = scout
wanted to main soldier
“we have no demo can you go demo”
and so I became demo

roamer cuz its awesome to be irresponsible
Once played demonstration man; bashed M1 and M2 and names popped up in killfeed so decided to eventually search for a team as either solly or demo and got only demo trials and stayed on the class ever since

played demonstration man
he likes to show off his… er.. stuff a lot
I have always liked to go fast and “try” to shoot at people, especially when I got a strange scattergun couple years ago.
But doesn’t mean that I’m that good at it but I’m still having fun so that’s what matters more.
Starts comp, wants medic. 3 medic candidates. Hajdzik you will be engineer then. Later on main medic can’t play, starts playing medic.

WAS main soldier
“we have no demo, i go demo”
and so I became demo
In the first HL team i joined the only spot left was scout so i took it.
All those hours on dustbowl before…
In “the new player season” after when TF2 was free, I played all classes, but mostly engi and spy. Then I got to trading, playing scout and spy, got cool strange kritzkrieg for medic and it was so fucking cool to have a virtual weapon worth of your life, so I played medic and showed off my cool weapon! I sold it, started playing soldier and more spy. Then I stopped playing solly but I was a retarded spy main with all cool weapons and an unusual and were the best spy on a pub server (atleast thought so). I started a team with my friend, he insisted to play spy, I wanted be an important class so I chose demoman. I’ve sucked at demo forever and won’t stop sucking. But spy main at heart.
Started maining Medic in pubs because it seemed to be consistently the only class missing. Found it fun when I started making common friends (usually heavies) to play pubs/trade servers.
Apart from that, Team Fortress 2 was actually my first FPS game (and still the only one I’m interested in) and my first WASD-based game. Combine this with a bad, rural internet connection, a bad mouse and almost no mouse space and it took a very long time to learn the ropes of the game in terms of aim, etc. Medic was the easiest in this regard.
I main medic. Never liked aggro playstyles, always played the support/ranged classes whatever game I ended up playing. It’s a great feeling when I do something cool and save one of my players.
When I first started playing this game I used to go on a really crowded pub server and try to keep everyone around me alive just to see if I could do it (usually managed to albiet whilst dying in the process). I just love this class and the way it plays, it’s so different to the other classes.
I started as main medic because tf2 was my first shooter and I couldn’t aim, so it was the logical choice, I could just stand around, hold mouse one and click mouse 2 sometimes and be useful. But playing it in highlander made me hate the class forever. Whatever would I do then? Well, the same friend who got me playing TF2 was getting really into pyro and he taught me how reflects and quickswitch and stuff like that works and I got addicted. I don’t think I could stop playing pyro even if I tried now. Regardless of how bad I am lol
