that new tf2 short is probably the best thing valve has done in a tf2 update in a long while.

Wow that video is really good.
But ye i hope there will be new weapons not hats!

day 2 = moon base MAYBE

I hope I will get the opportunity to fight a giant bread monster.

Also, this could be nice for the pub servers. It’s kind of hard avoid going for the objective if the objective is to defeat a giant bread monster eating you if you do nothing.

Im pretty sure they added alot of this stuff int he last update. Bread spawning in teleporters and the such. Even a bread-knife/weapon.

It looks like it’s hinting at a new VIP escort gamemode with Miss Pauling as the 10th class (aka TFC civilian):

1. Miss Pauling is carrying two “secondary” weapons, neither of which is currently in the game (the odd-looking shotgun and the silenced pistol). It’s natural to give the VIP some way of defending himself but nothing strong enough to allow deathmatching.
2. She offers Scout to “accompany her on her missions”.
3. Valve generally reuses assets from TF2 videos in-game. I doubt they modeled and rigged Miss Pauling and her silenced pistol just for this video. They probably won’t reuse the bread monster though :(

However, Valve has stated in the past that payload was designed as the TF2 version of VIP escort, because the cart cannot decide to run into enemy sentries for the sake of trolling its team. While payload is sufficiently different from TFC VIP Escort to allow both to coexist, the trolling problem has gotten worse over the years, if anything.
