I have Windows 7, HD 5750, Phenom 1100t and 8 GB RAM, TF2 is running on an SSD. Ive already disabled my antivirus software and the firewall. Ive also tried playing with stock settings, but same problem.
Make sure your mouse is running at full speed, always got me when ever drivers would go back to default refresh rates.
Have you tried changing mat_queue_mode?
// Here are the possible values:
// -2 legacy default
// -1 default
// 0 synchronous single thread
// 1 queued single thread
// 2 queued multithreaded
Are you getting low FPS, in-game jitter, or does it feel like it’s only affecting your mouse?
The jitter might be caused by a background application, like a program or a stream running.
Try it in fullscreen
had the same problem , the fix to me atleast was runin in fullscreen.

It is.

Do you have 120hz or 144hz monitor?
How many fps you get?
120 Hz
Quoted from kindred
try
fps_max (refresh rate * 2 + 1)
and
fps_max 0
Both failed.

I know. All settings failed.

Reinstalled Windows because of that. Didn’t help.

Try it in fullscreen
Imma try that when German internetz calms down. (240ms to UKSC)
Well,
fullscreen makes it even worse. Note that jitter is mostly caused when applying wasd-movement, partly when applying mouse-movement. Jitter is fps-independent.
try disabling windows aero, helped me against jitter while streaming.

Disabled since ’12 :D Maybe its the water vein…
m_rawinput 0/1 ?
What’s your upload speed? Rate 100000 means you could have too high of a upload compared to your bandwidth. Try 60000, it’s all you should need anyway.

Made it even worse.
And yes I use rawinput 1. It’s mostly not the mousemovement but the WASDmovement. Also my doors dont open properly smoothly, if thats a clue…
