Good staff, see you talking about Anti-Cheats and bearing in mind the inefficiency of the X-RAY, I was obliged to show to you the Anti-cheat that we use in leagues of TF2 in Brazil, the CleanDoD.
This is an Anti-Cheat developed by Brazilians, an interface in some languages (Portuguese, English and French) allows scanning various games such as TF2, CSS, DoD:S, CS1.6, DoD 1.3, L4D and some more games.
PROS
– Take random screenshots of the player you see on the screen, (Wallhack, radar and other cheats)
– Record all processes that are running on the computer of the player;
– Record ALL player configs (now you can check if any player is using any forbidden script);
– Record the Launch Options;
– Record everything that happens in the console;
CONS
The bad part of this anti-cheat is in computers with Direct X 10 + (Windows Vista and 7), the player that is using AA filter, got black screenshots, we use the “blackshot” term. the filter should be off that the screens are not black (X-Ray also needs it)
In older computers with less than 1GB of RAM, the game is losing many FPS.
For those who want to learn more about this anti-cheat can visit the website of the developer
http://www.cleandod.com.br
If you really are willing to test, I’m available to help
Just to remember, I am not the developer, I’m just a player that the USE this Anti-cheat and I think one of the best ones.
My steam: Murd3rzim
EDIT: It’s FREE to use…
If you buy, will remove 60 seconds to be able to use the program and you will get priority on the support.
I guess F2 could code it himself :P
Anyway, I think ETF2L needs some kind of new anti-cheat system after all that has been going on.
By banning people that haven’t even signed up @ ETF2L and miss half of their shots?
I think we should ban all the non-cheaters so there’s only cheaters left. Soon they would notice that playing with cheats isn’t so fun and quit tf2.
What do I need to run CleanDoD?
Windows with .NET Framework 2.0 SP1. 512MB RAM
You do realise that this cleandod thingy is .net program and it takes, like what, 5 seconds max to decompile (including download time of some decompiler).
