Well, it’s not P2P by definition, but easy to explain it in p2p terms, yeah.
Please do give a single aspect of IRC that fits your p2p claim. I’ll be happy to shoot it down
Came here to argue with failnerds.
See they have already been shot down.
Bonus question to the failnerds (and only to the failnerds):
After you’ve proven that IRC is p2p explain the difference between
IRC,
mIRC and
Quakenet
Amuse me.
Spike, you are a mean nerd and you know it.

Amuse me.
You know even failnerds can just google the results, right?

I’d like to add se.quakenet.org

oooh, me me, let me!
So without any kind of brain, knowledge or google, here is my attempt at amusing Setsul.
Ok, so irc is a protocol, (cheers Spike!), that allows failnerds to talk to one another in private and without showing off their ugly, spotty faces or letting anyone hear their pipsqueaky, pre-pubescent voices. It stands for…ermmm, ‘internet rallies causes’ as it was originally started in 1875 as a way for disgruntled slaves to communicate the displeasure they were feeling regarding their current circumstances.
mIRC was quickly set up to stop this blatant forsaking of their slave status, (attempts at communication between slaves being banned under the Picard Treaty of 1874), and to stamp out any chance they had for escaping their cruel masters. No-one really knows what the ‘m’ stands for, some postulate it’s a symbol of the never ending struggle of the slave nation, the classic ‘m’ shape a reminder of the constant struggles to keep those doomed to slavery in their place. MacDonalds.
Others suggest the m stands for ‘Massacre’ and yet others believe the m is irrelevant.
Quakenet is a piece of netting that has been designed to protect a building, road or continent, from the ravages of earthquakes. They are very cheap and easy to produce, even for the largest continents on the planet. Why they are mentioned in this thread I have no idea.
