So when I play at tf2center for example, it will automatically connect. Before I used to have a prompt asking if I want to connect.
How do I get it back?

It’s empty for me
Settings –> more settings –> privacy –> content settings –> notifications

Your link gives a 404 error.

bump, when I removed the steam stuff from the notepad, I got the prompt back on another site, which has nothing to do with steam.

I had this problem. Fixed it by going into C:UsersAppDataLocalGoogleChromeUser DataLocal State and removing the reference to steam under protocol handler/excluded schemes.
I ran the text editor as administrator while no chrome process was running. I’m not entirely certain that’s necessary, but it worked.
