Hey,can i remove or delete this folder:
Steam>Steamapps>Username>Team fortress 2?
You can do either. You will then have to re-download TF2 to play TF2.
Have groovy, groovy fun times.

so its really necessarily to play? why the same folder exists in common then?

im asking because both folders are 50gb…
I don’t really know tbh, just rename it and try to load tf2, if it works then great, if not rename it back and away you go…?
tf2 is located here: SteamApps/common/Team Fortress 2
so you can delete username/team fortress 2
btw you can also delete .gcf files in the SteamApps folder

Yep. That’s from pre-steampipe days, so if you’re sure you’ve got everything from there (configs, scripts, etc) then it can be deleted.
