its normal speed but the crits make people fly around so retarded :(
too many wall and floor shot heroes every time i’ve played, map seems to be stuck on some terrible 1v1 duel map
The mod and all is ok.. but i jumped in 6n6 only.. and when i jumped on the Srv.. I died everytime ;)
Crits make the juggling not very real, also you get a lot of kills by just shooting the walls or shooting somebody thats 1 feet of the ground.
I might make a map with 2 cp’s, the spires from badlands, and then gameplay like cp_turris :P
too spamy and crowded. im just overloaded with sounds and colours and cant even see what i shoot
need bigger maps
maybe arena maps? :o gotta try that
Just did about an hour of 1vs1 on a duel map and it was great, most kills were genuine airshots (not many wallshots/spammy floor shots).
Anymore players and most of the kills are just from two people spamming you down (one rockets knocks you up a little and the other hits you on the way up a millisecond later).
So its great for 1v1 but if anyone wants to have fun and train your airshots you need bigger maps.
Give more health to each player so multiairshots can be pulled off :)
Seems anything more than 2v2 gets too hectic.. but maybe its just my small brain not handling all the colors and being flung around constantly :)
Oldskool pinball with no like special holes and flaps to hit or newskool with loads of flashing lights, flaps, holes, and shizzle?
Right i’ve taken all the comments on board, and as i say its just a play test so dont worry! :-). I’ll get the map rotation sorted and probably lower the server to a 6 man as 3v3 is gravy.
The rockets are normal speed, just as they are critted it may appear different.
I’ll try and work on the more complex things requested, but for now i’ll just try and make it so people can enjoy it.
Please bear with me, and let me know if anyone wants to have rcon/ftp details to help me out and make this server better ;).
The scout achievement map keeps bringing in people who stand around dumbfounded for a while, may or may not mutter “OMG WAT I DO LOL” and then promptly leave when they figure out it’s not a scout achievement server. You might want to consider not using the map.
Right i’ve changed the starting map to dm_store_midair_b1.
And i allways thaught it has to be crits 100% or no crits, but normal play seems ok with random% crits on like default tf2.
However people still dont seem to be going up in the air much.
However like ctf_ball if theres a map which requires u to jump to cap an objective :) i may have an idea!
Just trying to get the map rotation going as it seems to keep going after the timelimit expires? Any ideas :<
