Ok we (idk?) have been trying to make a new team for the past month or so mainly because we saw so many clanless players looking for a clan and no one doing anything about it.

We also enjoyed the company that another idk? team brings ask anyone that was in idk white(nwave) what they thought I’d guess that they’d all agree that it’s a really good laugh, I’m sure the same goes for nvs1+2, it’s more than just 2 clans under the same name it’s more like one big happy family (gay!) that mix and hang out together etc etc.

So slick and abs have been trying to put a team together for the past month, lots of interest but people stick around for 1 or 2 mixes then seem to just go nah it’s not for me after they lose a few times etc finally it seems like it’s getting somewhere and it’s not due to general people going ye lets start a clan it’s more thanks to alot of hard work and stress on the behalf of slick and abs over the past 3-4 weeks.

I think alot of players atm don’t actually know what a clan is about, yeah everyone wants to win, yeah it’s not nice getting rolled but hey fuck it, it’s a game and people are here to have fun and have a laugh. Find people you get on with play with them alot and in the end you’ll get there.

Vale is probably the top example when they first started out just friends playing a game together and stuck with the same lineup for pretty much most of the time and ended up getting good. Ask any of the top clans what their major thought is when they recruit someone it’s not “omg that guys like super amazing lets recruit him” it’s oh so and so is a cool guy he’d fit in lets play with him a bit and see how it goes.

Us for example (idk?) we’ve had our fair share of lineup problems over the last 6 months but we’ve stuck at it (mainly coz we love slick) just because we get on well and have a laugh, we’ve only recruited people (or kept ZOMG GOSSIP) that we like and enjoy spending our free time with because at the end of the day most of us have jobs (not me freeloader!) and the last thing we want to do in our free time is play with guys we don’t like and I think our results have become more steady because of it.

All I’m trying to say is forget if you’re mid+ (probably not) pick a team you get on with and stick with it you never know it might just might work out if it doesnt then who cares you’ve had a good time with people you like if it does then hell even better.

Get off your arses and make some clans =)

We recruited Jh and Predz both when they weren’t very good but we could see they had potential and more importantly we got along with them. Now look at them!

This game differs to many others in that you’ll find a players skill level increasing 10 fold if he has a good relationship with his team mates. We’ve grown as a clan mostly by enjoying each others company and enjoying playing with each other, then all of a sudden found ourselves getting better and better.

I never thought recruiting big names as a quick fix works. Sure, it can work in the short term or for already big teams but recruiting someone who you get on with and that you think will do well in the future is the most important. Living by those standards are what have made us grow into a Division 1 clan today.

The “recruitment-list” idea could work out. Similar to something i have on paper somewhere. Thing is s1 has to do it and as ppl have an account on etf2l.org that would be the easiest place to implement it. BUT someone would have to do it and i guess they are still looking for someone to take over such stuff. Idea and design is easy; Finding the time to implement, not so.

oggy for president, our team for example, isnt the best div 2 team around when it comes to personal skill, but we sure as hell play as a team and thats what makes us good :)

The trouble is everyone thinks their midmid+ and try to join a div2/3 clan most of which have folded or arn’t recruting. So indeed the key is playing with people you enjoy and work from there, obviously a bit of skill is needed.
