– doors bug

– trains physically stop when people run over the top of them

– trains stop on client and the fix is to type /record or just run through them (kinda like the invisible bug, except the opposite

– 500fps on most of the map, then u get to the middle and fps is like 5

– whos bright idea was it to make trains block cp1.. it’s as random as random damage, they are nothing more than useless

– make players spawn on left exit at beginning of round, saves stupid class swapping at beginning

Entirely agree. I can’t count how many times I’ve witnessed last point being won/saved purely due to some bullshit with trains. Also it’s only the competitive map where I have consistant issues with FPS.

idd, it’s funny to see people get run over on maps like well, or even on freight as they are the slowest trains in the world… but for matches it’s stupid.

I agree with a fix since it would provide another good main map.

I dunno if it was the update or freight final but we were playing on ukesa today and getting on mid point when suddenly 5 of us crash at the exact same time.
Never seen this in all my tf2 experience.
I will get a vid or some with it, i think that it might be a good laugh.

I know that somewhere in that moment tf2 devs were evil laughing at us for sure. :P

my main complaint is the overall layout, the trains are too closeby for my liking and the spawns seem misplaced. its not an open map in any case except for the centre as well.

duno what u can do to make it better while keeping the trains

J3: we had that. That was probably because the server wasn’t updated yet. We had it a couple of times when someone on our team was trying to switch to heavy. The natasha was just updated, but not the server, so it made the entire team crash when someone switched to heavy.

J3 these crashes had nothing to do with freight
we had the same problem on cp_well yesterday

At least don’t put it in the primary mappool while these issues haven’t been cleared.

i dont have fps problems at cp 3….and the map runs very well…

the trains….. should have a longer spawntime!

Never experienced any of the train bugs or the FPS drops. Moving the spawn, well, you could say that about nearly every map… medics almost always switch spawns on granary to reach their players on freeze time, what’s the difference here?

u didnt experience fps drop? what pc do you have? i have had 2 top of the range pc’s in the space of 3 months and i get them – in fact, its not a matter of what pc atall it’s just the fact the map is so badly optimised.

go stand on one of the pitched roofs @ cp3 and look towards cp2, my 5fps was clearly exaggerated but considering my fps never drops below 160-200 on granary, then hits as low as 80-100 on freight is ridiculous.

as for the spawns, it’s not a matter of spawning on the wrong side of one room, its the fact trhat the opposite room is better for all players, and the concept of swapping classes to change rooms is ridiculous.

Might be a bit harsh to say that 80-100 fps is unacceptable?

It seams this is not such big of an issue on low/mid range computers.
