I liked the thought process behind sticky placements and the predict plays based on enemy placement. However there were a fair few minutes wasted on pausing the demo and tallying up the damages done, which pretty much is of no value to the viewer.

A simple “did a fuckton of damage to both sollies” woulda sufficed.

+1 There was a lot of time you just spent reiterating the same thing over and over again while paused. Like I swear you spent 5 minutes paused explaining the health pack debacle in intimate detail. (Was pretty funny though)

I really liked the detail you went into explaining the thinking behind pushes etc., and I think that’s more useful to the viewer than spending a lot of time explaining the mistakes you made.

Thanks for the feedback, really helpful stuff. Like I said, this wasn’t planned and I didn’t really think about how I was going to do it or what I should discuss, so I tried to cover as much as possible (even if that is going over damage and venting about how I was unlucky not to get a kill!)

as for checking steam chat and tabbing out to read stream, going over a demo for 80 minutes on your own is pretty boring, so I was answering any questions the viewers had and talking to a couple of friends that I was talking to before I started the demo review.

His internet is pretty crap, so there’s probably not a lot of room for improvement.

Using a slower encoder could help some, no? Or preferably just streaming at a lower resolution.

Ye it’ll help fo sho, but from his streams it looks to me like hes already using faster at least. I’m going to sort it for him later, we’ll see.

I think 80 minutes is fine as long as it stays interesting to watch
