Ond, if you think I’ll abuse power in this steam group you should see what I do in my mix group. I’m like the protagonist in a Peter Molyneux game, capriciously creating floods and earthquakes in the lives of the little people, just to enjoy the patterns as they scatter in terror. It’s pretty cool.

1. At that level you will make no progress playing the same 5 teams over and over again.
2. Get opponents via irc if they are bad trash them if they are better get wrecked and learn from that
3. I think its already hard enough to find opponents in irc so why would you want to split that small amount of teams even more
4. div 5 elitist invite only group , so how again are good div 6 teams able to progress? or atleast able to test water?

Yeah I read that. Not every one plays computer games in super serious mode. I’m guessing a lot of people in div 5/6 just want fun close games with people at their level. Having a steam group is hardly the heresy that some people are claiming you people are like fundamentalist christians or something.
And here we have a little dash of initiative and eeeeeverybody jumps on le shit-talk-wagon….and then wonders why people say TF2 is dead….
This is IDENTICAL to finding a div5 team to play against on IRC and/or searching the tables on ETF2L to add leaders, but simply makes it a lot easier to do so.
I think some people might a little butthurt that they aren’t in this highly elite div 5 group. Fraac, you should copyright this idea REAL fast so noone does the same thing to try and make their own other ‘div 6’ or ‘div 1’ groups. D=
