I think /r/tf2 gets bored of comp news, also have a look at Trells comment if you want to see donwvotes…so much for people wanting more choice.
I upvote all comp TF2 reddit posts, pretty sure I can guess who’s been downvoting my comments though!
C’est la vie :P

It’s Byte and his multiple accounts. He has a problem with my obsession for ginger girls.
g1 I suspect downvotes are coming because your posts are very formulaic and repeated near-daily and don’t seem to provoke much engagement in the community.
I’m pretty sure it’s not VTV (they get mentioned why the fuck would they?), but it’s definitely not normal.
Isn’t it a case of upvotes all coming from the same external source so reddit auto balances them out?
There was a huge explanation for it on Reddit before, I forget where it is.
I can pretty much guarantee no one from VTV is downvoting any of your posts fyi.
Reddit has ways of detecting vote cheating, but nothing is done about it (automatically) and the amount of upvotes being given by our community is so small it’s not really a big deal.
The main esports org I can think of that got caught for this was IGN. They had a system in place where every post would get 37 upvotes within like 10 minutes of going up. They did it constantly for months and got their domain banned from reddit. Us linking in a few places and getting like ~20 upvotes over the period of a few hours isn’t a big deal really.
