sup buds. I’m going to be doing weekly map reviews throughout the season covering the ESEA map of the week. I’ll try to go over each class and their roles on the map during holds, pushes, mids, and other things. I figured I would post them here as well and maybe you guys can get some use out of them. For those of you that don’t know me I currently play scout for Fully Torqued in ESEA-Invite. I have played 2 seasons as medic and 2 seasons as scout at the invite level.

Here is a match pov of me playing scout tuesday vs Don’t Trip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLKo-30UGVE

I’ll be doing it Friday at 5pm cst (13 hours from this post) on my stream @ http://www.twitch.tv/seanbud

If you have any suggestions on topics to cover for cp_gullywash or the map reviews in general please let me know.

Here is a general outline I will try to follow:
Scout:
Mids
Pushes/holds
Offclass options

Soldier:
Mids
Rollouts
-Pocket: Ubers
-Roamer: Positioning

Demo:
Mids
Sticky traps
Pushes

Medic:
Heal rollout
Ubers
Holding positions

Like I said if you have any specific questions you can post them here or just stop by in stream chat and ask during appropriate sections I will try to answer them.

The VOD will be uploaded to my youtube Immediately afterwards.

Maybe an introduction to yourself would be nice, for those who don’t know you. And maybe some credentials, how do I know I can trust what you say about scouts?

Amazing videos, already watched process, can’t wait to see gullywash.

In fact, you should trust no one. Don’t trust no matter of division. Do you really think players of any level willing to tell their secrets of success? So childish and naive. The only important thing to them is to improve themselves and dumb down everyone else. Be afraid, be very afraid.

bullshit, a lot of players doing this by mentoring, making videos(e.g. rollout) showing special spots, or what they are doing etc.

if you want to be a good player you have to develop yourself permanently anyway
and knowing some tricks from top players doesnt make you a better player…

If there was an ultra secret to succes in any game, then don’t you think, people already knew about it? You have to practise until you vomit pixels. And video’s and streams, vods help new players. Nothing bad about that.

OT: Great post Seanbud :)

Videos with special spots and rollouts are just a cover-up to get some trust by showing the most obvious and easiest things, to let them proceed with much more massive and aggressive subversive activity.

Awesome. Some tips on how to play well with all these new fangled weapons you’ve been playing with for years would be super awesome.

Gotta love this. The new unlocks actually allow for strategy crossover threads to happen more often now. I’m so gonna watch this

Yeah, this is great stuff, especially as we don’t have all the American stv demos that would’ve been super useful about now.

LEGO

Good stuff. Try to keep them as short as possible, since most people simply don’t have the attention span or will power to sit through anything too long, or at leats I don’t.

Lol, if you actually believe that “people want to guard their tf2 secrets for themselves” bit then thats just sad.
