Razer Game Booster, for TF2

So the little brother of my friend who is 14 years old linked me this.. thing. He says that the lag he had on his laptop (he had basicly 10-20fps) is entirely gone and that he now has 60+ fps.
It sounds legit since it’s made by razer, but this is the same person that I had to explain that the numbers in the tab menu is PING which supposedly measures the speed of the connection to the server (wheras he thought it was saying how much FPS he had).
So I’m not sure.
Has anyone tried this? Does it make any difference?

It does make a diffrence… For some huge for some nothing… How ever it does not hurt, it bassicly closes every unnececary program. A great program would defiently recommend it! :)

your brother has A LOT of crap on his pc…
it does help, only if your pc is a mess, with next to no free memory and random apps stealing cpu… if pc is clean it doesnt do jack
It’s not really made by Razer, it’s the same Game Booster from before only now it’s branded because Razer sponsored them a while ago(long story short, the guys who make it wanted to start charging money and Razer sponsored them to keep it free).
The idea is nice, but it doesn’t really do anything keeping your PC lean won’t achieve. If your brother is having success with this, cool I guess, but it’s just because he’s filled his laptop with shit.

No guys you see I actually know stuff about stuff and can tell you that this will only help you if your PC isn’t properly maintained.
PC gaming is full of so much bull shit, and I think is “peak bull shit”. They should release a mouse called the the “razer snake oil”.
Anyone with a properly maintained PC isn’t downloading enough porn. Get Game Booster. I just tried it and it halted 19 services. Which 19? I don’t need to care.

I use this on my laptop (because anything can make this thing better)
But desktop I see very little need.
I think it’s a good idea but badly executed.
Before when it was just the original game booster it actually worked ok and improved my fps’s
Now that it’s razer sponsored with that fugly GUI it just crashes too much and has too many bugs, maybe in a year or so it will be fine
