TF2 Source TV problem - please help!!!

How do you get source TV to use an existing slot on the server and not create a new one?
Constructive advice much appreciated.

Bit of background – we have a 22 slot rented server provided by our sponsor. So although we are sponsored, the settings on TC Admin are the same as any other rented server they supply. I just want to see if there is an easy way to add stv without it forcing a new slot on the server before I speak to the owners.
If you mean sv_visiblemaxplayers then this doesn’t stop stv forcing a slot on the server. Then TC Admin will automatically lock the account – rather than pestering our sponsor I would just like to see if there is an easy way around this first.
He means the startup command +maxplayers.
And no, there isnt a better way around it that i know of.
Check on the server hosters website or email them maybe?
I doubt they would freeze your account for adding SourceTV…
I don’t have access to the command line changer to change the maxplayers etc and it is TC Admin that will automatically stop our server if we make an illegal operation – e.g. trying to add extra slots (which stv does).
Anyhow, thanks for the help, I have taken this up with the provider as I know there is no other way around it.
This may set a precedent with these guys as I am already discussing them providing free mumble with every server (due to feedback I have had from a lot of TF2 clans). So stv could be included as standard and for 50p per slot, debranded, it has to be a bargain :)
