Hello, I am going to move to Canada next month and I would (of course) keep practicing TF2 in a competitive format. Highlander or 6v6, doesn’t matter, both are equally fun in my opinion. I finished with my team, Dawson’s Creek, on the top of division 4. So, when I come back from the Candas/Americas, I am all warmed up to come back to my team (and hopefully advance to higher divisions).
Now, I have no idea, except for UGC Highlander, of where to go. Which leagues, like ETF2L, are there in USA and Canada? Mix/pickup groups? etc.
If you help me with this, I will tip my hat for you. All help is appreciated.
all in irc (gamesurge) and esea
ask alfa, he also moved to canada
ugc 6s is pretty low-level, a top div 4 team would prolly be a team with a .500 or above record in ugc platinum 6s (the highest division) and a mid open esea team
UGC and ESEA-Open are great places to start, #tf2.pug.na is the main pug channel, teamfortress.tv are our main forums and if you have more questions you can add me trough steam.
Which part of Canada are you moving to?

Thanks a lot for the info!
I am going to Prince George, BC
Seems like a pretty boring town tbh. I checked the Prince George town website and I was stunned at the option to report a pothole… I’ve reported a pothole there by email. I thought they meant a pot smoking drughouse or something, but turns out they just meant a hole in the ground.. oh well..

It is close to the big mountains and fresh powder. I am going there mostly for studies and snowboarding purposes.

They need TP for their bungholes?
I used to be Cornholio, but then I took an arrow in my bunghole.
