What about trying to do an International TF2 League, like mixing up European teams with America teams. Cevo cooperating with ETF2L would make a BIG BIG deal. About the lag problems , perhaps the same old thing? one map on each ones server?
Think about it and post your agreement/desagrement and why. :p

imo its not bad at all despite the ping problems. and imo it would attract even more people to our Community.
Even simpler, make a third league.
Also, you can just encourage teams to cross “the pond” more often.

but there are so many problems like ping and the timezone.
i’d love to play against US teams, but the ping-problem really fucks up competitive gameplay.
and i’m not really a fan of the “one map our server, one map ur server” stuff.

Bad enough when it’s someone from Moscow with a big ping a couple of hours difference playing on a UK server – could you imagine Mid-west USA ?
Nice idea, and probably work between East Coast & Western Europe since we’ve had Canadians play with us ok in the past with <100 pings, but normally requires on them finishing work early or being unemployed/student – weekends being the exception.
Maybe you could do a World Cup or something of the sort before even adventuring into league territory.
I dont see why should we play against americans with lag instead of playing with european teams :? I fail to see the point in that.
no, this would suck, most of teams wouldn’t find time to play because of time zones.
Would make an interesting LAN party, dunno if theres anything like that, but get the best teams in the world or some crap :s would cost alot so will probably never happen but still would be nice :)
In case, its possible to play, it would be very hard for the Team with the Highping, so i think in Teams which have something like the same skill, will always win 1map due to pings.
And like said, the timezones. I got some Family in Canada, and playing with them is only possible during my holidays about the 8 hours difference, so i would say no.
why is everyone so against playing with the american community??
ping isnt as bad as u think, when col play on our servers there is only a hand full of teams that can challenge them :p
1 map on each server will be fine, you could say the end result of the tournament could be down to ping but that’s besides the point.. dignitas will win it anyway ;)
as long as there is no money involved it will be good fun and experience for everyone that enters :)
I do suggest a cup format tho, and maybe some hard thinking about the most ping friendly map for decider, i know this sounds long winded but how about 1 round of gravel pit each on each server.. u dont get fairer than that :)
i bet no one cba tho. :P
