Why 21:15?

I got thinking earlier about this. Why is the norm for matches being played is 21:15 Central European Time? Like how did we come to the outcome of 21:15 being that universal time for league matches? I’m actually curious, because you could have it where every team plays at different times, yet somehow we ended up with this “golden time”
I would assume because it allows for a warmup match at 20:00 (+15 minutes delay)
cuz everyone in eu is lazy and late, so instead of 2100 you start at 2115 ish
2 maps at 20:00, 15 minute break/opponent search, 2 maps at 21:15.
Because most teams plays 2 games each night.
2 maps vs first opponent at 20 CET then 2 other maps vs another team at 21.15.
Since most teams are always a few minutes late, those extra 15 minutes between both games are quite nice!

Doesn’t change the fact that 90% of the games arranged always start at least 5-10 minutes past said time.
Go ahead and start scheduling your games for 2100. Be the first. Changes don’t happen by looking at them.
you say start at 20:00 and get 2 maps in, but lets be honest, how many times have you got two maps in that 75 Mins? Ive gone into a match night and have to be fucked about by a team because they say they have 6 and you wait 5-10 mins (10 is an over estimate, you get the idea). SO you leave and have to spend another 2 mins looking for a game, but you’ve already wasted some of that time and would struggle to get 2 maps in

It’s more for prem/1/2 teams who tend to organise pcw’s ahead of time. They always search for 20/21:15, it makes sense.
Also for officials means they can use all up to 30 minutes being late (after the 21 mark). teh 15 minutes also is quite good for a small pee break, getting water, getting comfortable or a pep talk without getting seriously annoyed.

I want a pep talk from you e-tug
This is because the standard start time for 19:00 games is 19:15.
Haunter has to go eat dinner, his favourite meal is macaroni and cheese with a nice glass of the house red. When he is done with that he usually likes to take his Audi out for a spin so that he go visit his farm. Check that his ponies are ok, and sometimes change the water.
He does this all in down time between games, remarkable.
