so i noticed that there are no hats on the vanillatv streams and some other vanillatf2 guys’ streams like CUBE and Byte

i know that there are some working plugins on the steamforums but those don’t show any hats at all, not even the vanilla hats

if someone could just pass it along that’d be cool

It’s just server with no hats in whitelist, afaik.

which is required to use vanilla tf2 hud so they also stream only from shitty stv

servers can use tftrue no hats cvar, ive seen few, mostly finnish servers with it

well when i check out Byte’s stream there never any hats, whether he’s playing pu2 or public or w/e so it’s probably a client side thing

ya, the mod works on all sv_pure settings, and there’s multiple versions of it, i.e. you can modify it yourself (which hats you want to see or not see.)
