Unable to watch demo's help

HI
i have recently download some etf2l demo’s of this seasons games and then go to play them in console, and they load then just go back to menu screen. So why can’t i watch them.
methods used demoui in console and searched tf2 folder for game and playdemo game.dem in console both fail, however demo’s created by my own clan members work.
help plz
If it’s isn’t the update, then it might be because you put spaces between the names in your demo filename. Change it to underscore and it should work.
3 things make demos play up
1. Spaces in name
2. Folder where its placed
3. Updates

these are demos on this site downloaded by many people so they should work. when i try to view them they load and say on your way to badlands or whatever then after it gets to 100% i return to main menu.
