put this in /tf/cfg and put exec voice in autoexec.cfg
you can adjust the first two lines to your needs

I tried 106 but it looks as if my character is way lower to the ground than it was before
is this normal
should I be worried
should I uninstall tf2

Cheers, will try it out when I get to a computer.
EDIT – Can you explain what exactly that does?

Is it possible to change the Name with Steam, not with the name cvar?
Can I simply remove this part from the code and recompile it?

Thanks anyway!
MSVCP110.dll is missing. Any clues on how to fix this? Only happens when I try to use the plugin.

Ok, so I did that and now my viewmodel is showing but it looks like r_drawviewmodel 1. I checked that it was r_drawviewmodel 100 via console (typed in r_drawviewmodel and r_drawviewmodel 100 showed in the drop down). I also tried changing the value to 255 and it was not opaque at all.
You need to switch weapons for changes to take effect. If that doesn’t work then idk.
Ok after 1 hour i found out that i have to remove 4 lines to remove the name blocker :D
thanks Casual for your awesome plugin

Actually this is fixed now. The plugin wasn’t properly loaded at the time. One thing is that even though the viewmodels are transparent, the different levels of transparency don’t seem to work. I used r_drawviewmodel 100 and it was hard to see so I switched to r_drawviewmodel 50 without any noticeable change. I also typed r_drawviewmodel 2 into console and it looked the same.

Can’t fix this, the source engine has a built in transparency mode for all models. This plugin just tells the game to set the weapon’s transparency to some value and do what it does to make it show up transparent…
