Hey there,
Is any way to reset my stats cause from achievements server i’ve got 2700pts as medic and this totally messed up my stats , is there any way to change that – text document to configure , option on steam , or should i contact valve and ask them to reset it i dunno :( help
you cant.
you used to be able to, but not anymore.
Think there is a way but u’d need to edit the .dmx file in ur steam folder.
When you sign in its downloaded for you automatically and it’s reads that for stats, however if u edited it and played with it i think u could “mimic” the stats and it would accept the one u’ve edited for future tf2age!
But its alot of effort like just to reset stats :p
Cheers

There is no way to do that. You have never been able to do it. The option which used to be in the stats menu, was just removing the local stats file.
All of the stats are stored on the Steam Servers, and are then downloaded to your computer in this .dmx file. You can’t do anything with it.

So if i contact valve and explain the situation is there ANY chance to get my stats back to normal :(
Question?
Tell me how you feel about this
Try to control me boy you get dismissed
Pay my own fun, oh and I pay my own bills
Always 50/50 in relationships.
…oh wait…what?
Yeah, msging valve saying you’ve been cheating to get achivements “please reset my stats” wont get you anywhere :p.
cant atm, would do the same.
edit: yes, i messed around with host_timecale too. But FTS, almost every medic was prepared for doing it when they announced you’d need all 36 achievements for that silly saw.
