Slow projectiles?

My game just doesn’t feel smooth, and my projectiles seem slow. I watch youtube vids and streams and noticed how much more smooth peoples games are.
I’ve tried different fps configs, different interps, windowed/full screen but doesn’t make a difference. I made a similar thread a while back and not really been fixed from then.
I have an i7, 16gb ram and an OK GFX card which I will found out what it is later.
Any ideas?
whats your fps? just cap it at 240 and use M_rawinput 1. Also you can turn down prerendered frames to 1 in invidea control panel. Also make sure your net settings are good (interp etc)
also if you are using a MS mouse like WMO, 1.1 or 3.0 make sure you have your polling rate at 500Hz

Capped at 120, will try 240 but doubt it will make a difference. Have tried capping it at 60, 100, 200 and even tried not capping it at all.
Raw input is already on, I have a ATI Radeon HD 5700 and my net settings are fine.

Already done this.
What about net settings? The default values are horrible and there’s a notable lag when playing with them.
Playing with Chris’ FPS configs ever since ( http://fakkelbrigade.eu/chris/configs/ ), especially the “good connection” section reduced lag for me.

I use Chris’ “good connection” settings, have also tried the bad settings and none at all just to check but still no good.
The game in general just feels choppy, can even tell when rocket jumping. Perhaps my computer needs to be re-installed?

I had something similar, then I changed to dxlevel 90 and it made everything SO much better.

I’m pretty sure what I’m using is highframes (with a few things changed) and what I changed was the launch option of dxlevel.
fps_max 0 and check if you still have 500hz polling rate.. imo its unplayable if its 125hz (on good screen) :P
doesn’t matter what antivirus u have, make sure steam dir is whitelisted, and since some AV like to ignore whitelisted folders u might want to test it with AV disabled
also, crossfire/sli off if you have it

Tried fps_max 0, double checked my polling rate – definitely 500mhz. I always disable anti-virus before playing. I don’t have crossfire.
Any more ideas? :D By the way, sometimes it will feel fine for like 5/10 mins maybe but then it will just go back to normal.
