Can we recruit that medic instead of you now?

Or welcome to real world. Local player to server ping + server to enemy player ping, the enemy won’t see you at the same position as you think you are. Actually the client side position you see is fake. It’s just predicted, you can set cl_predict to 0 to see the real one. If he has a high interp he will see you at a even later pos.

You will see the last pos that the server acknowledged, and it will be unplayable as all your movements will be delayed because it waits on the server.

Taunt kill is essentially a 1 hit kill at a point in time. The area of effect is a horizontal wall extending from the middle of your model, so it can hit people above and below you to an extent.

With the medic’s taunt kill, it seems there are two chances to get the taunt kill (I think huntsman works the same), when he pushes forwards and when he pulls back.

Usually what happens with the medic taunt kill is when he thrusts, and someone is caught, they are stunned until he pulls back to get the kill.

In this case a combination of server lag, the medic lagging and or jackle lagging, meant that the thrust didn’t cause jackle to get stunned, but the backthrust still resulted in a kill.
