Is killing 5 enemy’s while not deploying your uber ‘the right way’?

I’d rather ban someone for trying to get that achievement on a pub than banning him for getting it on an achievement server.

RaCio – Then don’t run my plugin. You don’t have to, nobody is demanding that you run my plugin nor enforce my banlist. You don’t believe the same thing I do – and that’s fine. You are entitled to your opinion.

Jason – I do not run a competitve community nor do I play any game competitively so I can’t exactly speak for or against farming to stay “competitive”. Of every argument I have heard on the matter, that one is the only pro-farming one that makes any sort of sense.

Valve need to make all weapons available when playing with mp_tournament 1 that’s all.

And rather than going on a public server to do my achievement, i prefer creating a local server, ask a friend to join me and add bots.

who the fuck cares if people farm the achievements (to get the items, nothing else), its their choice. its just that THEY REALLY FARM THEM and not using some !giveall (or something?) command to get them or use program.

why do you even care about the situation that some people farm for 1 hour to get the items. there are people who thinks that public servers are the most fucking irritating thing in the world and wont play on them often. why do you want to ban these farmers if i may ask? you are jealous of the situation that they have the items and you dont? get over it. farm them yourself.

Ban me. I don’t play on FFA servers. Achievements are for casual players. We just want our fckin new cheated weapons !

Dishonest? Players actively pursuing moronic achievements like Consultation are ruining everyones gameplay. If you try that crap on a normal server you should be banned for life. I doubt Valve wants to encourage moronic gameplay, I can’t imagine these achievements are to be taken seriously.

Most people will never get the achivements in a “natural” way even if they dont use a farming program or do the achivements with some friends.
Most people are interested in getting the new unlockables. They will look at their achievement list and see what they have to do and then enter a pub server and start to play really stupid just to get the achivements. That is why we see most servers full of scouts that don’t care at all if their team is winning or not.
A successful team should not consist of 90% scouts. Their desire to get the achivements in a so called “natural” way is what destroys the game, not the farming on a private server.
On the contrary, if people are farming in a private server they don’t have to play like idiots on public.

Let the noobs get them the hard way, and let the competitive players farm them.
