anakin would you release the code for your plugin to the etf2l admins and let the coders verify your plugin that it solely takes screenshot from tf2 ingame and nothing else?

No can do, actually takes your bank-account details. As does this forum, so not looking good for you :(

Can’t agree more. There are quite a few red flags here:

– Anakin says: Plugin only takes clientside screens, no insight in how he does this? Why don’t you just make it opensource? Other people can help you, overall it will improve.
– No way of blocking it, nor any warning. If you dislike Google, Facebook or any other sort of privacy intrusion website, you can choose not to use it. I don’t know when this plugin is installed … So I can’t get around it.
– All the screens/data go back to Anakin alone right? Yeah, major red flag there.

An anti-cheat solution which you can opt out of? Seems pretty useless to me.

The screens are stored on the server and on the persons steam folder (the monitored person).

darn, this is just to assure other people who are worried that the plugin could do more than just taking tf2 screenshot. Its not really hard, send the codes to the etf2l admins, let them have a look and get back to us at the community that the plugin does exactly what it says it does. at least that will actually consider those who are sceptic to reconsider

I thought this as well

Setlet

In some servers, disconnecting takes like 10 seconds and then there is a console message saying like “cachedata 210.wavs” or something. Is it because of this plugin?

It’s fuckin annoying, it sometimes can take over 30 seconds.

Your footstep amplifying hacks conflict with the plug-in.

And risk that it gets leaked? No thanks.

No, that’s when you leave a sv_pure server.

I wouldn’t trust them for one bit.

No, considering the amount of stuff that gets leaked from their private channel and their private forums all the time.

lol, anyway wouldnt it at least be safer if you and the etf2l staff make an agreement where only one of the etf2l admin check the codes and no one else.

TSUN~

valve should just require all server plugins to be signed by them before running. or maybe anakin would exploit his way past that too, idk. something is definitely being hidden here, wake up people.

Like that would help anything. Anakin can update the plugin whenever he wants to.
