Kötje [20:41] remove freight,put foundry in the pool? reset playoff to old school style?

as much as I hate freight too, THIS rule is just atrocious: The 7th map, cp_foundry, will be the decider map in any and all Season 11 playoffs. This means that during the map-pick/elimination phases, teams only need to pick 2 maps rather than 3.

I’m guessing the reasoning behind that is they’re going to be able to review the map once playoffs have been played and the data from that could then be used to decide if the map should be in the pool next season? Assuming that decision can’t be based on the data from the cup alone.

I do agree that not being able to pick a 3rd map is weird. If they wanted foundry to be open for play offs exclusively it would’ve been wiser perhaps to have it as a map part of the play offs map pool (which in this case would then be season map pool + foundry) so you can pick it as a play off map if you wanted to.
