never has been 90, with widescreen 16:9 is already over 100, so i just want to know how much more can u see now with custom resolution 1.85:1 which is barely more than 16:9
Ill show you on 1280×640 which is 2:1 ratio when im done with worms. :P

make sure u use sv_restrict_aspect_ratio_fov

so change fov with windowed mod(@sv_restrict_aspect_ratio_fov 2) ist still the same as before
just the plugin(for just wider fov without changing ratio aint’t work ?
no, sv_restrict_aspect_ratio_fov 2 should restrict windowed and fullscreen aspect ratio and zoom in anything that goes over 1.85:1… observe the screenshot, its already zoomed in a bit
the plugin got disabled separately since they disallowed going in vac servers with -insecure or smth like that

So basically by going over the 1.85:1 ratio i see less in vertical FOV than normal, which sucks ass. Valve is so awesome.
edit: my new resolution is 1184×640 xD, exactly 1.85:1 ratio :)

lol so Valve broke this method of getting around -insecure in today’s update. I don’t know yet if it’s a simple signature break or if they actually changed something, but that’s something to figure out tomorrow.
They just broke the signature by adding a NOP at the start of the func :/
