Instagib server - no crosshair?

I’ve installed the Instagib (1.1) mod on my UK server today. Everything is fine bar the fact that nobody gets a crosshair.
I’ve installed the crosshair files to /materials/instagib and they’re all there (one is about 3.5mb, rest are fairly small, 4 files in total).
I’m using the ETF2L config for the Instagib Cup. Anyone have any ideas?
a shot in the dark, but has it anything to do with sv_pure 2?
kinda offtopic but is there a little program or something that makes me always have a little dot/crosshair thats like over whatever program i use :P?

Aye, I thought it may have been a sv_pure problem. I tried setting sv_pure 1 and whitelisting the crosshair but I had no luck. I never thought to try 0.
If sv_pure 0 is mandatory, ETF2L need to fix their config as it’s currently set to 2.
