This is sort of a promotion of the game which is starting in an hour or so where NA Highlander players do an all-star show match simply for the pure sport (so like as many views as possible from f2p players is good – show your friends!).

But only in America is where we see this sort of thing with their system. A league where the players not only voted their own ‘players of the season’ but then pit them against eachother for some entertainment for us mere mortals. Most 6v6’ers won’t rate the players on show tonight, they are mostly just Highlander players who weren’t so much into 6v6 but then found love for Comp TF2 through the UGC league.

Personally I think this sort of idea should be incorporated in some way for the sake of entertainment and exposure. Although I can forsee many problems with scheduling and the voting system (the voting system on UGC was ‘sign in through steam’ but yeah still can be massive bias) but still, the event is happening and eXtv are supporting this and so should all of us if we want to see f2p benefit the league more so we can get the more casuals into the more casual game mode of Highlander. (wish I posted this earlier)

Also leads the way for some show matches which we can do that should be MASSIVELY advertising all over for instance ESL Nations Cup Grand Final between Germany and winner of UK/Spain should be posted on as many boards as possible.
