Could anyone provide me with a couple of deathmatch servers, because I checked almost every single one of the servers given in that sticky post, and none of them still exist.

So what you`re saying is that the recent update that made tf2 f2p, somehow broke the deathmatch servers? I don’t have a lot of history with source games, a bit with css, so I might of gotten your message wrong.

When there is a new update for tf2 you have to update the servers and that’s why you might not find any deathmatch servers atm

The latest update broke the stable Meta Mod Source and Source Mod versions that are needed for the deathman plugin. The server owner has to install the latest developer snapshot to get the server running again.
Not to make a new thread just because of a silly little thing. Huds – Are they just for personal preference or do custom huds actually give you some kind of an advantage?

the only advantage i see is to see exact life of people who killed you and be able so see VERY clear damageDealts

some is personal preference, but i feel having less shit on your screen and being able to see through the scoreboard (transparent) etc are helpful – but it’s not like it’ll make you div1 if you’re a bad player.
Some people still choose to use default hud, I am on an off all time (when using custom one it’s always Oxide’s hud, when using default, it’s always in min mode). If you use default hud you will find the red dmg display really hard to read during fight. I have changed mine to white (with medic’s healing numbers being white too). Yellow, green, other colours are also good – just personal preference.
Second thing (nothing to do with hud) is the hit sound. Default “ding” one is ok, however since you can change it then why shouldn’t you do it? :) Like probably at least half of community I have quake 3 sound. Also, thanks for the info about the Huds, found one that suits me well.
The best thing you can do if you are just trying to improve is to just play for the fun of it.
When I was new I played 20h sniper before even trying another class because I thought it was so fun.
Well yes, i do play for fun. Its fun for me. I just find pubs so chaotic, that the fun is gone pretty quickly.
tf2lobby.com is a place where you can play with less people but beware of flamers and the likes.
I already know about lobbies and the cr*p that goes on in those matches. No thanks =/
I just need to find somebody who will scrim with me.
