Or join a stv server, type viewmodel_fov in console and look what value it shows (should work I think)
never tried this command but I will soon!

Tried this when watching a demo yesterday, and I liked it.
I will defiantely use this when making fragmovies.

Yeah but wlv, valve are unlikely to deviate from all the other source games by making fov_desired higher, since that could possibly give an ungodly advantage to some classes and not to others, where viewmodel_fov just looks sexy and makes the game feel better (imo).
