I’m starting a petition to send to Steam with the hope of them allowing “viewmodel_fov 70” without “sv_cheats 1” being enabled.

Preferably non-flame comments ;) but don’t be afraid to post your opinions.

(Please before posting try this command out, it is purely for aesthetics, it doesn’t affect the game play apart from making the weapons look lighter thus making me (for one) play with more… agility, more twitch shots etc.)

This command looks best for Demomen but is also rather sexy for Soldiers, Snipers and Scouts (not tried the other classes very much but its all down to personally opinion really, i just believe that it should be our choice to have the weapons like SourceTV or not)

Hehe it only really affects your game play if you want it to… but it is a very sexy command :) Would love to be able to use it in matchs because at the moment i can only use it in duels and mid air practice with my clan :( To easy for other teams to abuse cheats being on :(

It probably has a reason its a cheat command, so they probably wont change it ;(

Tbh I’d rather have fov_desired from 70 to 120 allowed than just weapon fov.

the reasons why are lol though. You just cant compare this to bobcycle or r_aspectratio, period.
